The vertical lines represent the linearity of life steady, continuous, and simply unfolding without resistance or overthinking. They reflect a natural rhythm that moves forward on its own, constant and uncomplicated.
Against this flow, the red band emerges as a singular movement. It embodies a moment of emotion like a sudden, sinking feeling experienced by an animal felt instantly and completely. It rises and moves freely, existing only in the present.
At times, however, these emotions leave a trace. The mud like shadow symbolises the IMPACT they imprint on the background of life.
This work explores how animals feel and exist in the world where time passes quietly, and emotions arise as pure, undivided experiences, unshaped and unprolonged by thought.
